[Oscar Fuente](https://greenlivingprojects.es/blog/author/oscar-fuente) Nov 28, 2025 8:30:00 AM # Green Living selected by the public as the most innovative coliving project at the Coliving Awards In September, Green Living was recognised at the Coliving Awards, an international event focused on projects, operators and new models within the coliving sector. As part of the open public voting process, Green Living was selected by the public as the most innovative coliving project. ## Public vote recognition Unlike jury-based categories, the public vote was based on open participation from the community. During the voting period, Green Living received support through public votes and shares across different channels. Part of that process can be seen in the following LinkedIn publication: [View LinkedIn post](https://www.linkedin.com/posts/we-did-it-together-green-living-coliving-ugcPost-7374443138343591936--noI?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAAAD4fJAB4HCPowqMMK5uOGR8jzEiJT9h1I8) ![](https://greenlivingprojects.es/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png.png?width=2702&height=1060&name=image-png.png) ## Context The Coliving Awards bring together projects from different countries and categories, including established operators, emerging concepts and new approaches to shared living. Within that context, the public vote recognised Green Living as a project connected to innovation in the coliving space. ## Why this recognition matters For Green Living, this recognition is relevant because it came from public participation. Coliving is not only evaluated through architecture, services or operations. Community perception also matters, especially in a model where the experience depends heavily on how people connect with the space and with each other. Being selected by the public reflects interest in the way Green Living approaches coliving: as a combination of living, working, community and quality of life. ## Part of a broader project evolution This recognition is part of a wider sequence of recent milestones for Green Living, alongside its selection for Web Summit Lisbon and its award from the Internet Users Association. Together, these recognitions reflect different dimensions of the project: coliving, technology, digital innovation and community-led living. ## Current stage Green Living continues to develop its model in Castelldefels, Barcelona, focused on remote workers, digital nomads, entrepreneurs and people looking for a more intentional way of living and working. The Coliving Awards public vote is one more step in that process.
